See what is due next, calculate due dates from calibration intervals, and send escalating email reminders.
03
Record as-found and as-left results, tolerances, pass or fail decisions, standards and attachments together.
04
Generate branded calibration certificate PDFs, labels and an audit-pack PDF.
05
Trace who changed what and follow out-of-tolerance events through resolution.
06
Move an existing register and supported history rows from Excel or CSV through a confirmed column mapping.
07
Export the register, calibration history, attachments and certificates on every plan.
What makes Gaugelog different
Gaugelog is built to be simple to use every day. The difference is in many small details that take work off the people who keep the register.
Modern, and simple from the first minute
Gaugelog is a modern web app built for the people who keep the register every day. Finding an instrument, logging a calibration and printing labels are short, clear steps, with nothing to install and no setup project before you start.
Small details that save time every day
The calibration form opens with today's date, the last technician and the instrument's own test template already filled in. Pass or fail is worked out for each measurement as you type, and the next due date is saved in the same step. New instruments get a suggested control number, and locations and manufacturers you have used before are offered as you type.
One register on phone, tablet and desktop
Use the same app at the bench, on a shared shop-floor tablet or at a desk, with no separate mobile data to keep in sync. Search the register, check due status and log a calibration right beside the instrument.
Reminders you can see working
Escalating email reminders go out at 30, 14 and 7 days, on the due date and weekly while an instrument is overdue. Due dates that land on a weekend or public holiday move to the working day before, and you can send a test reminder and follow every delivery in the log.
Your spreadsheet becomes the register
Upload Excel or CSV and Gaugelog suggests where each column belongs. You confirm the mapping before anything is created, so you start with your real instruments and history, not a blank page.
Evidence ready when the auditor asks
Certificates carry your logo and numbering, labels print on standard sticker sheets with a QR code that opens the instrument, and one button on the Reports page produces the audit pack as a single PDF.
Who it is for
- Quality teams that manage their organization's gauges, test equipment and other measuring instruments.
- Teams that need one current register for day-to-day work and audit reviews.
- Organizations moving from Excel, CSV or older calibration software without re-entering every instrument and supported history row.
- Teams that need traceable calibration records and audit evidence for ISO 9001 or internal quality processes.

Product scope
Gaugelog is designed for in-house quality teams that need a complete, shared calibration record. It can run alongside specialist systems when your program includes additional workflows.
Core workflow
Gaugelog is built for in-house quality teams that need one current instrument register, unattended reminders, linked calibration records and certificates, out-of-tolerance closure and audit evidence.
EU-hosted web application
Use Gaugelog in a browser on phone, tablet or desktop. The application requires an internet connection, runs from Frankfurt and includes full export on every plan.
Works alongside specialist systems
Bench automation, measurement-uncertainty analysis, MSA, Gage R&R, regulated electronic signatures and commercial-lab billing can remain in their dedicated systems while Gaugelog keeps the operational calibration record.
Published security documentation
Gaugelog publishes its DPA, subprocessor list, hosting locations and safeguards. A SOC 2 report is not currently part of the security package.
How our reference content is made
The calibration guides, the interval reference and the comparisons are written to be checked, not taken on trust.
Calibration interval reference
Every row cites verifiable documents: standards from ISO, IEC, ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN, OIML, JIS and BS, NIST publications, or named manufacturer and laboratory guidance. Each entry passed an independent second check of whether the cited standard exists, whether its title is accurate and whether the source supports the interval.
Starting points, not requirements
Intervals are published as typical starting points for your own risk-based decision, following the approach in ILAC-G24 / OIML D 10. They are never presented as compliance requirements.
Software comparisons
Comparison pages take competitor facts from each vendor's own product pages and public pricing, print the date they were checked, and are re-checked every quarter.
Sample documents
The sample certificate and audit pack are generated by the product itself from fictional data, so what you inspect is what the product produces.
Verify these product facts
Check current product and pricing pages, inspect documents generated by Gaugelog, and review the published data-handling terms.
Product and plan details
The product overview and pricing page show the current feature and plan facts.
Generated product evidence

Data handling
