Do you charge per user or per seat?
No. Gaugelog is priced by the number of instruments in your register. Users are unlimited on every plan, and read access is free, so operators, engineers and auditors can check a due date or a certificate without anyone buying a seat.
What counts toward the instrument cap?
Any instrument you track in the register: gauges, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, torque wrenches, test equipment. The cap is simply the size of your register; there is nothing more subtle to it.
Is the Free plan a trial?
No. Free is free for as long as you like, up to 30 instruments, with every feature and unlimited users. No credit card, no expiry. It is sized so you can run a real evaluation on real instruments, and so small shops have a real option.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Certificate branding, Excel import, the interval library and alerts are included on every plan. There are no setup fees, no training fees, no label fees and no paid migration service. The price on this page is the price.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You export it, all of it: the instrument register, the calibration history and the certificate PDFs. The export guarantee applies to every plan, including Free, and it works whether you are leaving or just want a copy.
Are the prices monthly or annual?
Prices shown are per month in USD, billed annually. Monthly billing is available at about 25 % more: Starter $59, Core $99, Plus $189, Pro $299, Max $479 per month.
Which plans include the API?
Core and up. Many tools in this space gate their API to the most expensive plan; we think a $79 plan should be able to talk to your other systems.
When can I actually buy?
